Nuuro began with a simple vision: to transform the way we make food choices. Claudia, one of our co-founders, struggled to choose what to eat to feel better and felt overwhelmed by the vast array of nutrition advice available today, which led to the creation of Nuuro.

We use AI technology and a deep understanding of individual dietary needs to provide real-time, tailored food suggestions. Meet the Team

Claudia Hilti

Co-Founder & CEO

Claudia has a background in food science and hospitality management. Her educational journey encompasses a Bachelor's in International Hospitality Management and a Master of Science in Life Science, majoring in Food & Beverage Innovation. Claudia has been involved in diverse projects, from working in various hotels in London, Geneva, and the Caribbean, to running her own restaurant in Liechtenstein. Committed to sustainability, she actively participates in philanthropic foundations focused on food sustainability and security.

Dimitris Messinis, PhD

Co-Founder & CTO

Dimitris has 12 years experience in Systems Medicine, developing experimental and computational methods to systematically understand human disease and biology.

He has worked with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) to understand how some drugs cause cardiotoxicity, with Philip Morris to understand how anatabine works and with Protavio to develop novel methods in compound screening.

He has a diploma in mechanical engineering, a PhD in Systems Pharmacology and an Executive MBA. He is the founder of the nonprofit organization Mindspace.

Lelde Legzdina

Marketing

Lelde brings a unique blend of expertise to the Nuuro team with her background in Psychology and her flair for creativity. As a Content Creator and Creative Writer, she brings originality and mindfulness into Nuuro's messaging, resonating with a diverse audience. Her advocacy for mindfulness underscores her approach to wellness, while her status as a GenZ Influencer allows her to connect authentically with a younger, health-conscious demographic. Lelde's role at Nuuro is pivotal in shaping the brand's voice and ensuring its relevance across various platforms.

Irene Leontakianakou

Operations & Administartion

Irene's background in Social Policy and her experience as a Executive Administrative Assistant and NGO Operations Intern bring a unique perspective to the Nuuro team. Her academic foundation provides a deep understanding of societal impacts on health and wellness, which is crucial for Nuuro's mission. Irene ensures seamless operations and management within the team. Her experience in NGO operations adds valuable insights into community engagement and program effectiveness, further enriching Nuuro's approach to personal wellness solutions.
